MARIGOLD ANGYALKA PAZAR

Marigold Pazar is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker working across acting, producing, and directing, currently based between Muloobinba/Newcastle and Eora/Sydney.

Raised in a creative family, Marigold's early years in ballet, contemporary dance, and Steiner education cultivated a lifelong reverence for artistic expression and the natural world. This foundation informs her work—whether on screen, behind the camera, or in collaborative arts projects—where she strives to merge intentional storytelling with a deep connection to people and place.

Rather than traditional training pathways, she chose to develop her craft through hands-on creation, producing the stories she wanted to see. Alongside training at Sydney institutions, she independently wrote, directed, and acted in films, embracing the autonomy of independent artistry.

In 2021, Marigold co-founded HER Productions with Charlotte De Wit, a theatre and multidisciplinary arts company dedicated to producing bold work in their hometown of Muloobinba that presents also in Sydney. Through this platform, they champion narratives rooted in community, creativity, and the intersections of art forms.
